Lucky Khera will join RACE LAB sporting director Euan Hankey aboard the #13 McLaren 720S GT3 for the 2023 season. Racing in the Pro-Am class of the GT3 field, the duo headline a three car campaign for the year.

Khera comes with sporadic GT racing experience in the Intelligent Money British GT Championship. He made his debut at the 2020 Silverstone 500 in the GTC category and has raced single round entries since. This will be his first full season in the championship. Hankey meanwhile has claimed the GT4 Pro-Am title with Mia Flewitt and contested a full season with 7TSIX Racing and Flewitt last year in the top class.

“I’m very excited to be part of Lucky’s first full-season British GT campaign. It’s the start of what we hope will be a race-winning partnership with the McLaren 720S GT3,” said Hankey.

“We have an extensive test programme lined up but, looking at the bigger picture, this is the beginning of a two-year programme and we have to appreciate this season could present its challenges. Equally, we are also ready for whatever 2023 throws at us. Lucky has a natural ability behind the wheel and I have full confidence that he will bring whatever is required to the table to give us a fighting chance out there on the circuit.”

The GT4 entry will be announced this afternoon with the second GT3 machine with no drivers confirmed as yet. The entire team is expected to make it’s debut at the media day test on 14th March 2023.
